  • Patient Care Skills: Learn how to provide compassionate and skilled care to individuals in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, and medication reminders.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop effective communication techniques to interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals with empathy and professionalism.
  • Safety and Infection Control: Understand the importance of maintaining a safe and clean environment for clients, preventing the spread of infections, and implementing proper safety protocols.
  • Ethical and Legal Responsibilities: Gain insight into the ethical and legal aspects of being a CHHA, including respecting client confidentiality, understanding boundaries, and adhering to regulations.

Certification and Licensing Support

The Care Training Academy goes the extra mile by assisting students with completing and submitting their CHHA application and ensuring all necessary documents are uploaded, increasing the likelihood of licensing with the New Jersey Board of Nursing. It’s important to note that while The Care Training Academy provides comprehensive support, they do not guarantee licensing, as their primary focus is on delivering an accredited curriculum and facilitating the state exam under the supervision of a certified RN.
